Photography taken of landmarks & locations near Gants Hill London Underground Tube Station. The station opened on 14 December 1947. During the 1930s the London Passenger Transport Board had provided advice on the construction of the Moscow Metro and an internal report in 1935 by the Underground’s engineers on the Russian capital’s system led to the decision to construct a station in London to a similar design. Gants Hill Station is located in travelcard zone 4 and is served by the central line.
