I’ve started a new branch of the Tube Mapper project exploring people’s favourite stations or stops on the London Underground Tube Map. I meet people at their favourite stations, taking photos and interviewing them to find out what makes it so special.
Meet Shalaka the Stand-up comedian who surprisingly has a PHD about trains. Her favourite station on the London Underground Tube Map is Finsbury Park.
Why is it their favourite station?
“My favorite thing about Finsbury park is when you get off the Piccadilly line… the Victoria Line is in the same direction in a passageway across from each other. So you can literally get off one tube and onto another without having to walk anywhere and that is genius.”
